Born on September 28, 1972. Dr. Franklyn V. Beckles, Jr., was educated in South Carolina, graduating from South Aiken High in 1991. He began traveling around the world serving America in the U.S. Armed Forces for the U.S. Navy and later for the U.S. Army National Guard. While in military service, he enrolled in South Carolina State University graduating in 1999 with a major in History Education. And Dr. Beckles earned a Doctorate Degree in Theology from New Life Seminary in 2002. Dr. Beckles was licensed to preach and ordained in 2008 at the American Fellowship Church. He was a public school teacher for 4 years, then became a career Firefighter for 3 years, and finally established his own Christian Bible College in 2010! He is the proud father of 5 children, happily married, and an accomplished Christian Book Author and Private School Director/Professor. Dr. Beckles is also a notable Civil Rights Pioneer who received national acclaim for being the only Community Leader to address and protest against Bullying and Racial Injustice in the Richmond County Public School System located in Augusta Georgia and Dr. Beckles is an crusader in the fight against Lou Gehrig's disease!!!
