In the year 1984, a young Steve Jobs unveiled the first Apple Macintosh computer with a verse from Bob Dylan’s famous song - “The times they are a changing”. Although composed and sang by Dylan for another time and context, this gesture by Jobs, invoking Dylan’s revered anthem of change was symbolic of the constant and rapid changes the technology world would be subjected to in future years. It also signaled the need to quickly get accustomed to new and rapid technology changes in the future.
